Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly not currently in talks with Liverpool over a potential deal for World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister.

Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly not received any contact from Liverpool over a potential deal for midfielder Alexis Mac Allister in this summer's transfer window.

The World Cup winner has been an integral part of a squad who have achieved the Seagulls' highest points tally in a top-flight campaign, with Roberto De Zerbi's men fighting for a place in the top four with six matches remaining.

Having made his Brighton debut in January 2020, the 24-year-old has gone on to appear over 100 times for the South Coast club, scoring 19 goals across all competitions.

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are yet to open talks with Brighton or Mac Allister concerning a potential move for the player to Anfield this summer.

The report adds that Brighton are not expecting to enter discussions with the Merseyside club for their Argentinian midfielder, however a move away from the Amex for Mac Allister cannot be ruled out at this stage.

Brighton will be looking for their third-straight home victory without conceding on Monday evening when they host relegation-threatened Everton in the Premier League.
