Liverpool injury, suspension list and return dates for Leicester: Alexander-Arnold, Nunez, Gomez latest

Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Liverpool's Premier League title party could potentially take place at the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon, when the Reds do battle with struggling Leicester City.

Arne Slot's men need only win two of their final six matches to clinch the top-flight crown, having survived a scare to get the better of West Ham United 2-1 last weekend.

Now 13 points clear of Arsenal, who face Ipswich Town at 2pm on Sunday, Liverpool will be confirmed as champions on April 20 if they beat the Foxes and the Gunners suffer a shock defeat to Kieran McKenna's side.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Leicester, who will be relegated to the Championship unless they can pull off a shock win over the league leaders.

Darwin Nunez

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: April 20 (vs. Leicester)

An illness prevented Darwin Nunez from turning out against West Ham, but the Uruguayan striker is back in training and is expected to be given the all-clear to face Leicester.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: April 20 (vs. Leicester)

Trent Alexander-Arnold was also seen in practice on Wednesday as he closes in on a return from an ankle injury, and there is a chance that the Real Madrid-bound defender will make his comeback at the King Power as a substitute.

Joe Gomez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: May 4 (vs. Chelsea)

On the other hand, fellow full-back Joe Gomez is not expected to return from his hamstring surgery for another couple of weeks, but the Englishman is on course to play again before the season is over.

Tyler Morton

Status: Out
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: Unknown

Fringe midfielder Tyler Morton has been out with a shoulder issue for a couple of months, and his return date remains unknown, but he would never have started this fixture anyway.
