Premier League trio chase Barcelona starlet?

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are understood to be chasing Barcelona youngster Toni Sanabria.

Three Premier League clubs are understood to be chasing Barcelona youngster Toni Sanabria.

The 17-year-old forward, who has been capped twice by Paraguay at senior international level, has a £2.5m release clause in his current contract at Barca.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City could be willing to activate the clause, according to the Daily Star.

Meanwhile, Catalan newspaper Sport reports that Barca boss Gerardo Martino is very keen to keep Sanabria at the Camp Nou and wants to reward the player with a new contract as soon as possible.

However, Spanish clubs cannot offer a professional deal to any player under 18. Sanabria will reach the landmark age in March.
