Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to consider triggering Thomas Frank's release clause at Brentford if they decide to sack Ange Postecoglou this summer.
Postecoglou has overseen a disappointing Premier League campaign, with his side languishing in 15th place with just 37 points from 32 matches.
They have suffered 17 losses in the Premier League this term, including three defeats in their last four top-flight outings.
However, Postecoglou still has a chance to end Tottenham's 17-year trophy drought, having guided the club through to the Europa League semi-finals.
A Europa League trophy would secure Champions League qualification and would help soften the blow of their forgettable league campaign.

Tottenham weighing up Frank swoop
However, it was recently reported that Tottenham will sack Postecoglou at the end of the season, even if he leads the club to Europa League glory.
Fulham manager Marco Silva and Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola are among those who have been mentioned as potential replacements for Postecoglou.
Brentford head coach Frank is another name that has been linked with the top job at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham are considering whether to activate a release clause in the Dane's Brentford contract.
Spurs could decide to pay the buyout clause and hold discussions with Frank about succeeding Postecoglou ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Why are Spurs considering Frank?
There is a belief that Tottenham believe Frank is ready to make the step up to a bigger job after impressing during his tenure as Brentford boss.
Frank, who became Brentford head coach in October 2018, led the club to back-to-back Championship playoff finals in 2020 and 2021, with his side winning the latter to secure promotion to the Premier League.
The 51-year-old has since made Brentford an established Premier League club with a reputation for playing an exciting brand of football.
Frank oversaw a top-half finish in 2022-23, and while his team had to settle for 16th spot last term, they are currently in 11th place in the current campaign and will extend their Premier League stay into a fifth consecutive season.
