Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham in the future.
Los Blancos are casting their scouting net far and wide following a sobering campaign to date, with their latest loss arriving in the Copa del Rey final to Barcelona at the end of April.
Meanwhile on the British Isles, Bellingham is looking to guide Sunderland back to the Premier League, where enticing derby clashes with Newcastle United await.
The 19-year-old was named Championship Young Player of the Season recently after a blistering second campaign at the Stadium of Light, emulating the achievements of older brother Jude Bellingham five years ago.
Jobe has bagged four goals and three assists from the engine room across 39 second-tier battles this term, with the Black Cats sitting fourth in the Championship rankings, guaranteed of a playoff spot.

Real Madrid monitoring Jobe Bellingham?
According to Spanish publication MARCA, Real Madrid are eyeing up a high-profile move for Jobe Bellingham, who could join older brother Jude at the club.
The report claims that Carlo Ancelotti's men have been left impressed by the performances of the 19-year-old for Regis Le Bris's troops this season.
However, it is said that a switch to the Bernabeu for Bellingham this summer is extremely unlikely, with the teenager needing to prove himself as a top-flight footballer first.
There are a number of clubs who could line up to offer the midfielder such an opportunity next season, including teams in the Premier League.
London duo Arsenal and Crystal Palace are both supposedly keen on securing the services of the England Under-21 international in the future.

Does Jobe need to leave Sunderland?
After a difficult first season in the North-East, Bellingham is now thriving at an in-form Sunderland, who could be able to provide the star with Premier League football in August.
Should the Black Cats return to the top flight, the 19-year-old may want to remain at the Stadium of Light, building on positive momentum.
On the other hand, it is extremely hard to imagine Bellingham staying put at Sunderland should they remain in the Championship for 2025-26.
