Sunday's Ligue 1 predictions including PSG vs. Marseille

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Ligue 1 fixtures, including Paris Saint-Germain vs. Marseille.

Lyon vs. Le Havre (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Lyon host Le Havre in Ligue 1 this weekend at the Groupama Stadium, with the two sides needing the points for different reasons.

The hosts are chasing down the teams above them, and they are still hopeful that they can qualify for next season's Champions League, while the visitors are currently 16th in the table, and they would have to play in a relegation playoff if they finish the season in that position.

We say: Lyon 4-0 Le Havre

Lyon are in fine form, and they netted four goals on Thursday against Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League.

Le Havre have had a couple of decent results lately, but we think their defence will continue to ship goals against a prolific Lyon attack, so we are going for a repeat of the 4-0 scoreline from earlier this season.

Montpellier vs. St Etienne (Sunday, 4.15pm)

Stade de la Mosson is set to host a relegation six-pointer on Sunday when Montpellier HSC take on Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1.

La Paillade will be desperate to avoid being completely cut adrift at the foot of the table, while Les Verts have the chance to escape the drop zone with a win.

We say: Montpellier HSC 0-2 Saint-Etienne

Montpellier have been in disastrous form in recent weeks and their situation has not been helped by a severe lack of goals.

St Etienne have a shockingly poor record on the road, but if they are going to win an away match this season then Saturday's game will be their best chance.

Brest vs. Reims (Sunday, 4.15pm)

Reims travel to Brest in Ligue 1 this weekend, looking to distance themselves from the relegation zone in the standings.

Samba Diawara's side are 15th in the table, just one point above Le Havre in the relegation playoff position, and two points ahead of Saint-Etienne in 17th.

We say: Brest 2-0 Reims

Reims do not look as if they can win anywhere right now, and we think that their pain will continue here.

Brest's win against Angers last week was a sign of recovery following their recent blip, and they will welcome the visit of Reims this weekend, as their form has been very poor of late.

Strasbourg vs. Toulouse (Sunday, 4.15pm)

Strasbourg, aiming to maintain their charge for a European place in Ligue 1, are set to match up with an in-form Toulouse at the Stade de la Meinau on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts are seventh in the table, trailing the top six by just two points, while the visitors are 10th in the standings, eight points adrift from the European places.

We say: Strasbourg 2-0 Toulouse

Strasbourg are enjoying a sensational run heading into this match, including clean sheets in all of their last five, and we expect that streak to continue with another win and shutout here.

PSG vs. Marseille (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Riding high and undefeated in Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain seek their 52nd Le Classique victory against second-placed Marseille in Sunday's gameweek 26 fixture at Parc des Princes.

Luis Enrique's men, 16 points ahead of their rivals, have been victorious in the last six top-flight meetings, including five without conceding, and the Parisians aim to extend their winning run over the Boys from Marseille to take another step toward a 13th league crown.

We say: Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 Marseille

It is hard to look beyond another win for PSG in the imminent Le Classique, with the free-scoring Parisians expected to record a seventh straight Ligue 1 triumph over Marseille to extend their lead atop the standings to 19.

While Enrique's men keeping one clean sheet in 11 top-flight matches at Parc des Princes should give De Zerbi's side hope of scoring, a side that have hit three or more in seven of said games should triumph on Sunday.
