Manchester United will reportedly have to pay €100m (£86.5m) if they want to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike during this summer's transfer window.
The Frenchman has been in excellent form for Frankfurt during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring 21 goals and registering nine assists in 42 appearances in all competitions.
Ekitike has scored four times and registered three assists in 11 Europa League appearances this season, including a goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of their quarter-final last week.
The 22-year-old will now be looking to inspire his side past Tottenham when the two sides lock horns for the second leg of their last-eight contest in Germany on Thursday night.
The forward has also been in strong form in the Bundesliga this term, scoring 14 goals and registering five assists in 28 appearances, with Frankfurt currently sitting third in the top-flight table.

Frankfurt 'want £86.5m for Man United-linked Ekitike'
There has been a host of speculation surrounding the striker's future in recent months, with a number of major clubs believed to be keen to sign him during this summer's transfer window.
According to BILD, Frankfurt have placed a valuation of €100m (£86.5m) on his shoulders; Man United are said to be extremely keen, while Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest.
Ekitike spent the second half of last season on loan at Frankfurt from Paris Saint-Germain, scoring four times in 16 appearances, before making the move to the Bundesliga team on a permanent basis during last summer's transfer window.

"A mix between Neymar and Kylian Mbappe"
Former Netherlands international Wesley Sneijder recently claimed that Ekitike reminds him of a mixture of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
"I'll tell you, I've seen a lot of this boy. Now, I may say something really crazy, but I'll say it anyway: I think he is a mix between Neymar and [Kylian] Mbappe. I sincerely mean that," Sneijder told Ziggo Sport.
"He has that grace from Neymar but also the movements of Mbappe. Suddenly accelerating – that's something Mbappe also has and he is only 22 years old. There is really a lot of potential in this boy."
Ekitike started his professional career with Reims, scoring 11 times in 26 appearances for the French club, but he only managed four goals and four assists in 33 appearances during his time with PSG.
Man United are determined to sign a new striker this summer due to their problems in the final third of the field, while Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are also among the clubs looking for a number nine for the 2025-26 campaign.
