Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are all reportedly keen on the signing of Marseille forward Mason Greenwood ahead of the summer transfer window.

Barcelona have reportedly joined Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain in the pursuit of Marseille man Mason Greenwood.

The Englishman is said to have caught the eye of a number of elite European clubs after a positive start to life on the South coast of France in Ligue 1.

Greenwood has featured in 22 top-flight matches for Marseille so far during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring a staggering 14 goals and providing three assists for teammates.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a loan stint away from Manchester United last season at Getafe, for whom he netted 10 goals across 36 competitive appearances.

Greenwood is extremely unlikely to play for the Red Devils again, turning out on 129 occasions for Man United between 2018 and 2023.

Barcelona, PSG to battle Bayern for Greenwood?

According to GIVEMESPORT, three European powerhouses are keen on securing the services of one-time international Greenwood during the summer window.

The report claims that Barcelona are genuinely interested in a move for the 23-year-old, who is navigating his maiden campaign in French football currently.

It is understood that a switch to the Bundesliga could be on the cards for Greenwood also, with German giants Bayern Munich admirers of the player.

The Carrington graduate could move up the Ligue 1 pecking order before the new campaign, with perennial French champions PSG interested in the winger.

Man United hold a significant interest in any future sale of Greenwood, after inserting a hefty sell-on clause into the deal that allowed the attacker to swap Manchester for Marseille over the summer.

Greenwood's campaign in numbers

Finding the net on 14 occasions in Ligue 1 so far during the 2024-25 campaign, Greenwood trails only PSG star Ousmane Dembele (16) in the race for the division's Golden Boot.

Describe as exceptional by head coach Roberto De Zeri, the 23-year-old has fired his current employers into a great position on the domestic scene.

Losing just four of their 22 top-flight games so far, Marseille are sitting second in the Ligue 1 rankings, eight points ahead of Lille in fifth spot.
