Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Fabio Silva is reportedly the subject of interest from another La Liga club after his form on loan with Las Palmas.

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Fabio Silva is reportedly being targeted by another La Liga club ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old is currently on yet another loan spell away from Molineux, building on his efforts for Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven and Rangers.

While his time with those three clubs failed to lead to a permanent transfer away from Wolves, his form for Las Palmas during 2024-25 is having a different effect on potential suitors.

Silva has contributed seven goals and two assists from his 18 appearances in La Liga, also earning his first senior cap with Portugal.

According to Estadio Deportivo, one of Las Palmas' rivals are now interesting in securing a deal for Silva later in the year.

Which La Liga clubs want Silva?

The report suggests that Sevilla have identified Silva as one of their priority targets, the Spanish giants holding a long-term admiration under different sporting directors.

Sevilla are said to have already initiated contact regarding a deal for the player, whose contract with Wolves expires in 2026.

Having recently moved nine points clear of the La Liga relegation zone, Sevilla officials can afford to start making plans for next season with improving their attack towards the top of their priorities.

Just 31 goals have been netted from their 26 fixtures in the top flight, only Belgium international Dodi Lukebakio, with 11 goals, scoring more than four times in the league.

In theory, Silva would seemingly become first-choice striker at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, something which may prove pivotal when he makes decisions at the end of the season.

Atletico Madrid have also been credited with an interest in the past, Diego Simeone said to be a fan of Silva's performances in the final third with two of his seven league goals having been scored against Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Any chance of a Wolves stay?

The chances of a change of heart from Silva have certainly been boosted by Vitor Pereira becoming the new head coach at Wolves in December.

Nevertheless, it has become clear that Silva is far more suited to continental football than the Premier League, despite there being potential for him to be deployed as one of Pereira's two creative players behind a centre-forward.

That said, Wolves may be of the opinion that they should take their chance to generate a fee for Silva when he has failed to deliver on the £35m that he cost in 2020.
