Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly both planning to come forward with offers for Corinthians' Breno Bidon this summer.

Corinthians wonderkid Breno Bidon will reportedly be the subject of offers from both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the upcoming transfer window.

Back in December, it was claimed that the Gunners were one of the first teams to show a serious interest in the 20-year-old, who had a €100m (£82.8m) release clause in his previous contract.

Bidon has since penned a new deal until the summer of 2029, although it is unclear whether his renewal also includes a release clause and if so how much that option would be worth.

Following apparent checks from Arsenal and Fulham, Real Madrid and Barcelona were also rumoured to have joined the chase over the winter as Bidon's stock grew further.

An unnamed Big Six club then went as far as to make an official offer for the 20-year-old during the January window, but it was immediately rejected by Corinthians before his renewal was sealed.

It is unclear which party made that approach, but according to Bolavip Brasil, both Arsenal and Spurs are expected to make official bids for Bidon when the window reopens.

The bid that Corinthians rejected from an unnamed Big Six club in January was said to have been in the region of €15m (£12.4m), but they are not in a position to block Bidon from leaving if the financial package is good enough.

The Brazilian side are apparently aware that offers for the 2005-born prospect will be forthcoming this summer, but they could still drive a hard bargain given his importance to the first team and his lengthy contract.

Bidon could reinforce an Arsenal midfield that will likely be without Thomas Partey and Jorginho next season, although the Gunners are expected to seal a £51m deal for Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma have all struggled for consistency in the Tottenham engine room this season, and both Bentancur and Bissouma are out of contract in 2026.

Promoted from within the Corinthians academy system to the first team in 2024, Bidon - who is left-footed and stands at 5ft 10n tall - can function as a box-to-box, holding or advanced midfielder and has already played 45 times for the seniors.

The 20-year-old has scored one goal and provided two assists for the South American giants in that time and made 29 top-flight appearances for Corinthians in 2024, in addition to helping them reach the Copa Sudamericana semi-finals.

Bidon has also made a name for himself at international level, despite not yet making a senior appearance for Brazil, as he was a regular fixture in the Selecao Under-20 side that recently won the South American Championship.

The youngster started all nine of Brazil's matches at the age-group competition, further displaying his versatility by functioning as a right midfielder in the opening game, a 6-0 loss to Argentina.
