Arsenal, Manchester City 'after Boca Juniors youngster Cristian Pavon'

A report claims that Boca Juniors starlet Cristian Pavon, who made his Argentina debut last month, is on the radar of both Arsenal and Manchester City.

Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly the latest clubs to show an interest in Boca Juniors youngster Cristian Pavon.

The 21-year-old has scored three times in 10 games for the South American giants this term and netted nine throughout the last campaign.

Liverpool were first linked with the Argentina international last year but, according to Calciomercato, Arsenal and City are now more likely to battle it out for his signature.

Pavon, impressive on his senior international debut against Nigeria last month, is said to have a release clause of £32.5m inserted in his contract.

The report suggests that Boca do not intend to cash in on their young starlet, meaning that a club will have to meet his full valuation.
