Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe will be back manning the touchline again when the Magpies host Ipswich Town in Saturday's Premier League fixture at St James' Park.
The club confirmed on Thursday morning that the 47-year-old had returned to work following a bout of pneumonia, during which his trusty assistant Jason Tindall took the reins temporarily.
Little has changed injury-wise since Howe was hospitalised - Sven Botman (knee), Lewis Hall (foot) and Jamaal Lascelles (knee) are still sidelined - but Fabian Schar came off with a hamstring problem in last weekend's 4-1 loss to Aston Villa.
Emil Krafth is on standby if need be, but Howe delivered a positive update on Schar in his pre-game press conference, so the Swiss defender should be given the green light to make the cut alongside Dan Burn.
The Newcastle manager has fewer concerns further up the field, though, as Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes should link arms in midfield again, but there is one Anthony Gordon-shaped dilemma further forward.
The ex-Everton man has been kept out of the XI by the in-form Harvey Barnes of late, although he replaced Jacob Murphy for the final quarter of the game at Villa Park instead.
However, with Barnes bagging the assist for Schar's leveller in that game and Murphy in red-hot form before the Easter weekend, Gordon may have to wait his turn again as the former two continue to flank Alexander Isak.
Newcastle United possible starting lineup:
Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento; Guimaraes, Tonali, Joelinton; Murphy, Isak, Barnes
