Marcel Sabitzer says that nothing has been decided over whether he will remain at Manchester United past the end of the season.

Marcel Sabitzer has suggested that no decisions will be made regarding his Manchester United future until the summer.

On the final day of the January transfer window, United were successful with a bid to sign Sabitzer on a straight loan deal.

Since then, the Austria international has established himself as a squad option for Erik ten Hag, making five starts and four substitute outings in all competitions.

While the 29-year-old has not necessarily made a telling impact at Old Trafford, he netted an important goal on Sunday as United defeated Fulham in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Sabitzer earned a place in the starting lineup courtesy of Casemiro's domestic suspension, something which will last another three matches.

With United competing in three different competitions, that is expected to lead to more opportunities coming the way of the versatile midfielder.

Nevertheless, speaking to the media at the weekend, Sabitzer has given every indication that he will take his time before making any decisions regarding the next phase of his career.

Sabitzer said, as quoted by the Daily Mail: "Whatever happens in the summer, we will see.

"I had to make a quick decision in January. I was focused on this, it was clear it is just a loan until the summer. I take every game as it comes. I'm very happy to be here. I will give 100%.

"I am very happy to be part of this team, this amazing club, and I feel very welcomed. I am very happy at the moment."

Sabitzer still has two years remaining on his Bayern contract at a time when the German giants may be contemplating whether to cash in on Ryan Gravenberch.

A report last week indicated that Liverpool had expressed an interest in signing the Netherlands international with him having failed to impress at the Allianz Arena.

Before his short-term transfer to United, Sabitzer has been used on 28 occasions by Julian Nagelsmann this season, proving to be a valuable backup option.
