Manchester United are reportedly prepared to use a familiar method to facilitate the exit of Rasmus Hojlund.
The 22-year-old has completed two years in the colours of United with 26 goals and six assists from 95 appearances in all competitions.
However, just 14 strikes have come from 62 outings in the Premier League, leading to constant speculation regarding a potential departure for the Denmark international.
With United having committed to a deal that could reach £72m and Hojlund having three years left on his contract, parting ways with the player is not a simple task.
Nevertheless, as per Calciomercato, United are open to discussing a similar deal to what they have negotiated for Marcus Rashford's exit.
Man United to follow Rashford path
The Red Devils are allowing Rashford to complete a season-long loan to Barcelona which will include the option of signing the England international on a permanent basis.
Such a method has been required due to the 27-year-old's substantial wages and Barcelona's inability to purchase the versatile attacker this summer.
United are now allegedly happy to loan out Hojlund with Inter Milan said to be big admirers of the player.
That said, United would reportedly insist on a buy obligation being included in any terms agreed with the Serie A giants or another club.
In order to avoid making a loss with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations, United allegedly need to generate in the region of £39m if they are to sell Hojlund.
Will Man United tempt Serie A clubs with Hojlund terms?
Even though Hojlund only ever contributed nine goals and four assists from 32 Serie A appearances for Atalanta BC, he boasts a strong reputation in Italy.
Therefore, if he is to leave United, the likelihood is that Serie A will be his destination, his age and profile also proving to be attractive.
United have already committed to deals for Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha that could eventually reach £133m, increasing their need to find new homes for several forward players.
Although United have seemingly set out their stance, club officials may have to be open to further negotiation to get Hojlund off their outings.
