Matheus Cunha is in line to make his Manchester United debut when the Red Devils begin their pre-season with a friendly against fellow Premier League side Leeds United on Saturday.
The Brazil international has completed a £62.5m move to Old Trafford this summer, and having been in training with his new team since the start of last week, he is in line to start this weekend.
The same can also be said for 18-year-old defender Diego Leon, who has arrived from Cerro Porteno, although he is likely to feature among the substitutes for the first whistle.
Lisandro Martinez is still out, with the Argentina international recovering from a serious knee injury, while Andre Onana will be missing due to a hamstring problem.
The rest of the squad are in good shape in terms of their fitness, although Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho will not be involved, with all five set to leave.
Head coach Ruben Amorim is set to name a strong starting side, including captain Bruno Fernandes, who rejected the chance to leave Man United earlier this summer.
Leny Yoro, Rasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo are also in line to feature from the first whistle, with Amorim then likely to make wholesale changes at the interval of the friendly.
Onana's absence will open the door for Altay Bayindir to feature between the sticks, although both goalkeepers could still leave the club before the end of the summer transfer window.
Manchester United possible starting lineup: Bayindir; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Yoro; Dalot, Ugarte, Fernandes, Dorgu; Cunha, Hojlund, Amad
