Nottingham Forest are reportedly working on a deal to sign Switzerland international Dan Ndoye from Serie A side Bologna.
Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo is in need of attacking reinforcements following Anthony Elanga’s move to Newcastle United.
The Tricky Trees have seemingly identified Ndoye as a potential target, with journalist Florian Plettenburg reporting that they have already agreed personal terms with the 24-year-old
Forest have reached a verbal agreement with Ndoye over a long-term deal that would run until the summer of 2030.
The Premier League side are now ready to make their first official bid, as they look to strike an agreement with Bologna over a transfer.
Ndoye is also attracting significant interest from Serie A champions, who have also agreed personal terms with the player.
Galatasaray close to Osimhen signing
Meanwhile, Galatasaray have reportedly agreed a deal with Napoli for the signing of striker Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria international spent last season on loan at the Turkish club, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions.
Osimhen appeared to be closing in on a move to Al-Hilal following the end of his loan stint in Turkey, but he ultimately rejected the chance to join the Saudi Pro League club.
The 26-year-old has also been mentioned as a target for clubs in the Premier League, but he now appears to be on the verge of a return to Galatasaray.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Napoli over a deal worth €75m (65m).
The Turkish Super Lig champions will pay an initial €40m (£34m) and a further €35m (£30m) by 2026.
Galatasaray will also be unable to sell Osimhen to an Italian side for the next two years, otherwise they will incur a penalty fee.
The two clubs are still working on the final details before Osimhen can officially be unveiled as a permanent member of the Galatasaray squad.
Brentford ready fresh Hutchinson offer
Back in the Premier League, Brentford are reportedly preparing to make a new offer for Ipswich Town winger Omari Hutchinson.
The Bees made an effort to sign the England Under-21 international before his £35m release clause expired on Tuesday at 5pm.
Brentford were willing to splash out the required £35m for Hutchinson, but the two clubs ultimately failed to agree on the structure of the deal.
While Hutchinson's release clause has now expired, Keith Andrews's side are still keen to bring the 21-year-old to the Gtech Community Stadium this summer.
According to Sky Sports News, Ipswich are bracing themselves for Brentford to return to the negotiating table with a fresh offer.
The Tractor Boys are keen to retain Hutchinson's services, as they look to mount a promotion bid to secure an immediate return to the top flight.
Ipswich are in a strong negotiating position, with the player's contract set to run until the summer of 2029.
From Brentford's perspective, they will likely view Hutchinson as a replacement for Manchester United-bound winger Bryan Mbeumo.
