Reigning Swedish champions Malmo will be bidding to make it successive wins in the Allsvenskan when they resume their domestic campaign with a clash against Oster on Saturday.
Malmo are currently fifth in the Allsvenskan table, 10 points behind the leaders Mjallby, while Oster are 15th, boasting only 12 points from their opening 15 matches of the campaign.
Match preview
Oster have a record of three wins, three draws and nine defeats from their 15 league matches this season, with total of 12 points leaving them down in 15th spot in the table.
Martin Foyston's side secured a return to the top flight for the 2025 season courtesy of their second-placed finish in the second tier last term, but they look set to be involved in a relegation battle this term.
That said, Oster are only one point behind 13th-placed Sirius, and they have shown some positive signs during the current season despite their lowly spot in the table.
The home side will enter this match off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Brommapojkarna, with their last victory in the Allsvenskan coming against Degerfors at the end of May.
Malmo, meanwhile, will enter this match off the back of a 3-1 success over Iberia in the second leg of their first qualifying round clash in the Champions League, so the Swedish champions have progressed to the next stage.
Henrik Rydstrom's side will take RFS in the next round, with the first leg taking place on July 22, so the visitors will have one eye on that fixture when they return to league action this weekend.
The Blue Ones beat Norrkoping 3-1 in the league last time out, and they are now unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions, while their last league defeat was at the end of May against IFK Goteborg.
Malmo are off the pace when it comes to the title race this season, though, currently sitting down in fifth spot in the table, 10 points behind the leaders Mjallby, who have been excellent this term.
The Blue Ones have picked up 10 points from their eight away league matches this season, while Oster have the second-worst home record, only claiming five points from their seven games in front of their own supporters.

Team News
Oster have not reported any fresh injury concerns for this match, and there are unlikely to be any surprises when it comes to their starting side for the contest with Malmo.
Mattis Adolfsson and Ivan Kricak have actually scored four times between them from the middle of the defence, and the pair will again be in the starting side on Saturday.
Meanwhile, there should be a spot in the final third of the field for new arrival Joel Voelkerling, who debuted last time out.
As for Malmo, Johan Dahlin, Martin Olsson, Andres Christensen, Gentian Lajqi and Erik Botheim will miss out through injury, but the visitors do not have any fresh fitness concerns.
Isaac Kiese Thelin has been a standout performer for the club in the final third of the field, scoring eight times, and he will again be in the first XI for the reigning Swedish champions.
Meanwhile, Sead Haksabanovic is also set to keep hold of his spot in the attack.
Oster possible starting lineup:
Wallinder; Adolfsson, Gyamfi, Kricak; Varmanen, Ljung, Ask, Bergquist; Uddenas, Voelkerling, Sejdiu
Malmo possible starting lineup:
Olsen; Stryger, Jansson, Zatterstrom, Busanello; Karlsson, Johnsen, Rosengren, Bolin; Kiese Thelin, Haksabanovic
We say: Oster 0-2 Malmo
Oster will be the fresher of the two teams, and the home side are capable of making this a tricky match for Malmo, but we are fully expecting the visitors to secure all three points this weekend.
