Sports Mole looks at how Everton could line up for their Premier League clash with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Wednesday.

Everton manager David Moyes may well name an unchanged side for their trip to Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The Toffees were very impressive in a blistering first-half performance against Man United which saw them lead 2-0, but they were eventually pegged back to 2-2 and were denied a late penalty by a very dubious VAR intervention.

Nevertheless, there were still plenty of positives for Moyes to take, and the lack of options available in reserve means possible personnel changes are few and far between anyway.

The only possible change could come on the right-wing, where Jesper Lindstrom was forced off early in the second half due to illness, but with a four-day timeframe in which the Dane can recover, he could be fine to start again.

Should Lindstrom not make it, Carlos Alcaraz would be the most likely player to come in, after he was unfortunate to lose his place in the XI at the weekend, after a goal and an assist against Palace just over a week ago.

Abdoulaye Doucoure's return from suspension saw him replace the Argentinian, and the Malian midfielder repaid his manager's faith, also scoring and assisting against the Red Devils.

Alcaraz could be forced into a wide area if he is included in the starting XI, because Everton's two first-choice wingers are currently sidelined due to knee injuries, with Iliman Ndiaye and Dwight McNeil not expected to return until April.

Injuries to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti have finally given Beto a chance in the first team, and the striker is rapidly becoming a fan favourite at Goodison, scoring for a fourth league game running at the weekend - the first Everton player to do since Richarlison four years ago.

Beto has now scored almost triple the amount of goals Calvert-Lewin managed in a much higher proportion of minutes, but there remains very little cover behind the Guinea-Bissau international, with youngster Martin Sherif the only bench option at present.

All over the pitch Everton are weakened with injury, with Orel Mangala out for the season with an ACL injury, while right-back duo Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson remain sidelined.

Everton possible starting lineup:
Pickford; O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Lindstrom, Gueye, Garner, Doucoure, Harrison; Beto
