Watford 2025 summer transfers: Every confirmed signing and sale for Paulo Pezzolano's side

Despite showing promise for much of the 2024-25 Championship campaign, Watford stumbled at the tail end of the season, missing out on the playoffs after recording just two wins from their last 12 second-tier fixtures.

Accruing 57 points from their 46 games, Tom Cleverley led the Hornets to a 14th-placed finish, and eventually departed the club due to the dire run of form that saw his team end up 11 points short of the top six.

Paulo Pezzolano now occupies the Vicarage Road dugout, with the Uruguayan boss becoming the latest name to take charge under the tumultuous ownership of Gino Pozzo.

Under their new manager, Watford have been busy in the market, signing seven players, though it is notable that three of those were free while two were loan deals, perhaps hinting at a reluctance to spend.

That being said, the Hornets have secured the services of a number of promising young stars, including 19-year-old forward Othmanne Maamma from relegated Montpellier, and fellow teenage attacker Nestory Irankunda from Bayern Munich.
