Manchester City officially unveil their brand new PUMA home kit for the 2025-26 season, confirming when it will be worn for the first time, how much it will cost and where fans can buy it.

Manchester City have officially unveiled their brand new PUMA home kit for the 2025-26 season.

The Citizens are hoping to end the current campaign on a high by winning this weekend's FA Cup final against Crystal Palace, as well as secure a top-five finish in the Premier League to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Pep Guardiola's men are focused fully on their remaining three domestic fixtures, but that has not stopped those behind the scenes at Man City from putting plans in place for the future both on and off the pitch.

Three months ahead of the start of the new Premier League season, the Citizens have released their new home kit that will be worn by all men's and women's teams representing the club.

It has been confirmed by Man City that the men's team will wear the new home kit for the first time at this summer's FIFA Club World Cup, taking place in the United States, with Guardiola's side facing Wydad AC, Al Ain and Juventus in the group stage.

Man City have chosen to celebrate the launch of their new kit with a unique film, directed by Glenn Kitson that includes actor John Thompson from The Fast Show and Cold Feet, as well as senior players from the men's and women's teams including Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji, Oscar Bobb and Alex Greenwood.

For the first time in the club's history, Man City's new home kit features a 'sash' design - the diagonal white stripe "made iconic on previous City away days."

Man City say that their fresh new iteration of the home shirt, paring the white sash with their traditional sky blue colours, has "been reimagined for the new generation."

The sash design, which has a long and storied history with Man City, was first introduced on the club's kits back in the 1970s and worn by club icons including Colin Bell, Mike Summerbee, Francis Lee and Tony Book.

Man City say that the addition of this iconic style to their home shirt creates "a connection to the past with a futuristic design, bridging the gap between different generations of City fans."

Marco Mueller, PUMA's Senior Director of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel told the club's official website: "We're so excited to be featuring the iconic sash, made famous from away days of old, on the home kit for the first time.

"Both in this kit and all our kits for this upcoming season, fans across the world will be reminded that with our partnership we do things differently and want to push the boundaries in terms of design, creativity and innovation."

What is the new kit made of? How much will it cost and where can you buy it?

Man City's new jersey is available in both Replica and Authentic versions; the Replica jersey is made with RE:FIBRE recycling technology and contains at least 95% recycled textile waste, while the Authentic shirt - one worn by the players - is made with PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE fabric to reduce weight and friction, and provide an athletic fit for elite-level performance.

Both versions also incorporate PUMA's dryCELL sweat-wicking technology to keep players and fans dry and comfortable.

Man City have confirmed that the 2025-26 kit is now available to purchase at mancity.com/shop and the club's official stores at 10% off for members and season card holders.

The Replica shirt will cost you £85 and the baby kit and kids tops are valued at £50 and £60 respectively, while the Authentic home jersey is priced at £130, and customised printing could increase to value up to £152!

If you wish to buy the new kit online, the 10% discount will be automatically applied when logged in with your member account, while free delivery is available for all purchases over £90 ($100, €130).

Man City's new kit is also available to purchase on PUMA's official website and in their retail stores, while other retailers including Sports Direct and JD Sports are expected to have the new kits in stock, although their prices may vary.

Meanwhile, the brand-new Women's Super League font for women's player name shirts will be available to purchase from May 19.
