Both sides have been in mixed to poor form over recent weeks, and a victory either way could shape the rest of the campaign for either team.
However, Rizespor's strong home record and Alanyaspor's lack of wins away from their own ground makes it difficult to picture anything other than a win for Palut's men on Sunday.

Fenerbahce vs. Antalyaspor (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Fenerbahce will look to maintain the pressure in the Turkish Super Lig title race when they welcome Antalyaspor to Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Sunday.
The Yellow Canaries sit six points behind Galatasaray after 24 matches and will be eager to stay within striking distance, ready to capitalise on any potential slip-up from the league leaders.
We say: Fenerbahce 3-1 Antalyaspor
Fenerbahce's recent form appears more sustainable than that of their title rivals, and with the added motivation of feeling that the system is against them, it is hard to see the Yellow Canaries slipping up at home against a side they have defeated 26 times in 31 meetings at this venue.
