Sports Mole provides everything you need to know about how to watch Barcelona's La Liga clash with Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.

La Liga champions Barcelona will finish their 2024-25 campaign with a clash against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday night.

Fresh from hosting the Europa League final, San Mames will now welcome two La Liga teams, with Athletic bidding to end what has been a strong domestic season on a positive note, and here Sports Mole provides all the details on how to tune into the event.

What time does Athletic Bilbao vs. Barcelona kick off?

Barcelona's La Liga clash with Athletic is due to kick off at 8pm GMT.

It is one of only three top-flight Spanish matches taking place on Sunday, with one on Friday and six on Saturday, and Barcelona's clash will officially bring the 2024-25 La Liga campaign to a close.

Where is Athletic Bilbao vs. Barcelona being played?

Athletic will welcome Barcelona to their glorious San Mames stadium.

On Wednesday night, the ground hosted the Europa League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

Athletic have been excellent in front of their own fans this season, picking up 39 points from their 18 league fixtures, which is the fourth-best home record in the division, while they have the best home defensive record in Spain's top flight this term, conceding just 10 times.

What is at stake for Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona on the final day?

Barcelona have been confirmed as La Liga champions, but they might only be one point ahead of second-placed Real Madrid by the time that they take to the field.

Ending a brilliant season on a positive note will be Barcelona's main aim, while Athletic will finish fourth regardless of what happens in the final set of fixtures, with the Basque outfit securing qualification for next season's Champions League.

Ernesto Valverde's side could join Atletico Madrid on 73 points in the table, but they would still be fourth, as the capital team have the superior head-to-head record between the two sides during the 2024-25 campaign.

Who will win Athletic Bilbao vs. Barcelona?

Athletic's home record this season will certainly leave their supporters confident ahead of the visit of Barcelona.

However, the fact that the Catalan outfit lost against Villarreal last time out means that the visitors will be even more fired-up to triumph, and we are expecting Flick's team to shade a close contest on Sunday night.
