Brentford have reportedly decided to exercise their right to sign Michael Kayode on a permanent deal.
Kayode joined the West London club in the January transfer window, signing on loan from Fiorentina until the end of the season.
The Italy Under-21 international was allowed to depart Fiorentina after being restricted to one start in five Serie A appearances in the first half of the campaign.
Right-back Kayode made 12 Premier League appearances during his loan spell, including starts in each of the final six league matches of the campaign to help the Bees achieve a top-half finish.

Brentford trigger Kayode's buy option
With the campaign now over, Brentford have been left with a decision to convert Kayode's loan move into a permanent deal or allow him to return to his parent club, Fiorentina.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Brentford have already decided to take advantage of the buy option in Kayode's loan agreement.
The Premier League club will sign him for €17.5m (£14.7m), although it is currently unclear how long his contract will be with the club.
Kayode will leave Fiorentina after registering one goal and five assists in 49 appearances across all competitions.

Do Brentford need to sign another right-back?
Brentford head coach Thomas Frank will be able to call upon Kayode and Aaron Hickey as his main right-back options for next season.
Hickey, who can play on the left and right of defence, has not played a competitive game for Brentford since October 2023 after suffering setbacks in his recovery from a long-term hamstring injury.
The Scotland international returned to the matchday squad to be an unused substitute for the final match of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
There may be concern about how many games Hickey will be able to play next season, but the Bees will surely avoid the temptation to recruit another right-back, especially as Sepp van den Berg and Kristoffer Ajer can provide cover if required.
