Jamaica have won five, drawn three and lost two of their 10 matches under the leadership of Steve McClaren, with the former Manchester United assistant manager taking charge of the national side in August 2024.
McClaren's team have played four times in 2025, opening the year with two friendlies against Trinidad and Tobago, recording a 1-0 victory over the Soca Warriors before playing out a 1-1 draw three days later.
Jamaica have since played twice against Saint Vincent & the Grenadines during qualification for the Gold Cup, with a 3-0 victory following a 1-1 draw in their opening match on March 21.
The national side are currently second in their qualification group for the 2026 World Cup, beating Dominican Republic and Dominica to make it six points from two matches, and they will take on British Virgin Islands and Guatemala in Group E in early June.
Jamaica have only ever been present at the finals of one World Cup, which came back in 1998, when they recorded one victory in the group stage but failed to make it to the knockout round of the competition.
This fixture will act as the first semi-final of the Unity Cup, with Nigeria taking on Ghana on Wednesday, and the two victors will then lock horns in the final of the competition on May 31.

Yorke's side will be back in World Cup qualification action on June 7, taking on Saint Kitts and Nevis, before facing Costa Rica on June 11.

Jamaica head coach McClaren has named a mixture of local and international-based players for the Unity Cup.
There will be familiar names in the Jamaica lineup on Tuesday, with Hull City's Kasey Palmer, Everton's Mason Holgate and Portsmouth's Isaac Hayden set to be among those to feature from the first whistle.
Fulham's Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Aston Villa's Leon Bailey, Brentford's Ethan Pinnock, West Ham United's Michail Antonio and Coventry City's Joel Latibeaudiere are notable absentees from the squad.
As for Trinidad and Tobago, there is expected to be a spot in the final third of the field for Kevin Molino, who has found the back of the net on 24 occasions in 63 appearances for his national side.
Levi Garcia, who has eight goals for the national team, is also in line for a spot in the final third, while the vastly-experienced Joevin Jones is set for another appearance at the back for Yorke's side.
Jamaica possible starting lineup:
Davis; King, Holgate, Bell, Young; Hayden, Palmer, Russell; Atkinson, Cephas, Burrell
Trinidad and Tobago possible starting lineup:
Smith; J Jones, David, A Jones, Gomez; Phillips, Gill, James, Fortune; Molino, Garcia
We say: Jamaica 2-1 Trinidad and Tobago
We are expecting a close match in London on Tuesday, with Trinidad and Tobago having enough quality to make this a tough fixture for Jamaica, but we are backing McClaren's team to navigate their way into the final of the Unity Cup.
