Liverpool are reportedly targeting the signings of a new striker, centre-back and left-back during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Liverpool have reportedly identified three key priorities ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Reds could be in the market for a fresh face at right-back following the news that academy graduate Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave the club at the end of the season.

Alexander-Arnold was booed by a large majority of Liverpool fans in Anfield on Sunday, when the English champions drew 2-2 with Arsenal.

He will bow out of his first stint as a Red with a Premier League winners medal around his neck, with Arne Slot winning a major trophy during his maiden season in charge.

A mammoth 15 points ahead of the rest of the pack in the top-flight table, Liverpool have fixtures against Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace before the term's conclusion.

Liverpool identify three key priorities for summer window?

According to Football Insider, Liverpool have identified three key areas where they must improve during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Firstly, the report claims that the Reds will make the signing of a new striker the top priority, with Darwin Nunez set to depart at the end of the term.

The Uruguayan has fallen out of favour with Slot this season and is supposedly preparing to decide between a future in the Saudi Pro League or La Liga.

Elsewhere on the pitch, it is understood that Liverpool are targeting the acquisition of a new centre-back to partner Virgil van Dijk next campaign.

Finally, Slot's side are said to be plotting a swoop for a left-back, with the long-term future of Andy Robertson as the first-choice pick in doubt.

Who could Liverpool sign this summer?

In the striking department, Newcastle United star Alexander Isak and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins have been named as potential Nunez replacements.

Speaking on the centre-back scene, Van Dijk could be joined by the likes of Dean Huijsen and Marc Guehi in the Anfield backline in 2025-26.

Liverpool supposedly have a clear preferred target at left-back, where Bournemouth and Hungary man Milos Kerkez is primed to make the move to Merseyside.
