Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp must work around the absence of Ibrahima Konate for Saturday's Premier League contest with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

The French centre-back picked up a hamstring issue in last weekend's FA Cup defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, and he is reportedly facing a three-week spell on the sidelines.

Konate joins Virgil van Dijk, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Arthur and Roberto Firmino in the infirmary, while Fabio Carvalho will need a once-over after missing the loss to Brighton with an unspecified injury.

Nat Phillips was also absent from the Amex due to a "proper cold" according to Klopp, who seemingly vetoed a deadline-day exit for the Englishman amid his defensive injury crisis.

Joe Gomez and Joel Matip will pair up for the time being as Phillips and Rhys Williams make up the numbers, while Alisson Becker, Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold retain their spots at the back.

Fabinho's face was that of a man who was expecting to be sent off after catching Evan Ferguson with a dreadful challenge last weekend, but the Brazilian midfielder miraculously escaped a red card and is available to Klopp here.

However, Stefan Bajcetic can expect to hold his place ahead of the under-performing Brazilian, while Thiago Alcantara and Harvey Elliott - who scored the winner in this fixture in their FA Cup third-round replay - may complete the engine room.

Darwin Nunez has had to make do with substitute outings since recovering from a minor injury, but the Uruguayan will surely come back into the fray alongside Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo.
