Hamkam have endured a slow start in the current season, winning only one of their first seven fixtures.
Having finished two places above the relegation zone last term, their fans would have been hopeful for a consistent run this term, especially after they claimed a 2-1 win over Kristiansund on the opening day.
However, Jacob Michelsen's team have been experiencing a decline, failing to win in their last six games in the top division, with 15 goals conceded in that period.
At the other end of the pitch, the home side have struggled, scoring only five goals, a tally which is the second-worst in the league.
A win for the home side will mark their first victory over Molde for the first time since May 2007, and they could rise as high as 10th if results elsewhere go their way.

Like HamKam, Molde also struggled at the start of the season, failing to record a victory in their first four fixtures.
The away side lost consecutive games to Sarpsborg 08 and Sandefjord, before back-to-back draws against Bodo/Glimt and Rosenborg.
Per-Mathias Hogmo's men did find their footing in May, stringing together three straight wins across all competitions.
However, they could not keep up the momentum, losing to Kristiansund 1-0 in their last league outing, before losing 4-3 in extra time to the same opponents days later in the Norwegian Cup.
Currently 10th in the standings with eight points from seven fixtures, MFK will be desperate to put together a run of victories, beginning with Sunday's opponents, a side they remain undefeated against since May 2007.

Michelsen will have to cope with the absence of midfielder Markus Johnsgard and youngster Ola Rye for Sunday's fixture as they are ruled out due to unspecified injuries.
Halvor Opsahl is stricken with a knee injury, meaning he will not be in consideration for selection this weekend.
Gustav Nyheim (back), Daniel Daga (leg) and Albert Posiadala (hand) have all been ruled out for the visitors.
Ghanaian Jalal Abdullai, Johan Bakke and Zady Caleb are doubtful for this clash, and they have to face late fitness tests to ascertain their readiness.
Kristian Eriksen and Magnus Eikrem are expected to lead the line for the visitors.
HamKam possible starting lineup:
Sandberg; Sjolstad, Mares, Strand Nilsen, Bjanarson, Ekeroth; Potur, Soras, Roaldsoy, Mawa; Lien
Molde possible starting lineup:
Karlstrom, Haugen, Haugan, Amundsen, Linnes; Granaas, Breivik, Daehli, Stenevik; Eikrem, Eriksen
We say: HamKam 0-2 Molde
Both sides have had a less than ideal start to the campaign, and given the poor form of the hosts and Molde's quality and their dominance over Sunday's opponents, we can only back Molde to claim a 2-0 win.
