Millwall agonisingly missed out on a place in the Championship playoffs last season, as the Lions finished eighth and just two points adrift of the top eight.
Looking ahead to the 2025–26 campaign, Millwall will be determined to mount a stronger push for Premier League promotion. As a result, the club is expected to be active in the transfer market, with further signings anticipated to strengthen the squad and support their ambitions.
The Lions have already seen a number of players depart the club since the end of last campaign, including forward Zian Flemming, who has made his loan move to Burnley a permanent transfer.
Millwall could see more players depart in the coming weeks, with the likes of Japhet Tanganga attracting interest. However, manager Alex Neil will be aiming to keep hold of his key players while reinforcing crucial positions to build on the progress made since his appointment in December 2024.
The club has already made moves in the market, securing Josh Coburn on a permanent deal from Middlesbrough for a reported £5 million following his loan spell last season. In addition, goalkeeper Max Crocombe has joined on a free transfer after leaving Burton Albion.
