Preview: Bodrumspor vs. Antalyaspor - prediction, team news, lineups

Sports Mole previews Saturday's Turkish Super Lig clash between Bodrumspor and Antalyaspor, including predictions, team news and possible lineups.

Bodrumspor will be hoping to take another step towards preserving their Turkish Super Lig status when they host Antalyaspor.

The home side currently sit 14th in the table with 33 points, having climbed out of the bottom four courtesy of a narrow 1-0 victory over Alanyaspor last time out.

Bodrumspor's impressive eight-match unbeaten run came to an end with a 4-2 home defeat to title-chasing Fenerbahce, but last Sunday's win proved it was merely a minor setback.

Jose Morais's men have now claimed victory in three of their last four league fixtures, significantly boosting their chances of remaining in the top flight with seven matches left to play.

However, it is far from job done, especially given they have played a game more than a couple of their relegation rivals, and still have tough encounters against Galatasaray, Samsunspor, Trabzonspor, and Besiktas looming on the horizon.

This will be Bodrumspor's third meeting with Antalyaspor this season, having already faced them in both the cup and the league, and the hosts will take encouragement from the fact that the home side has triumphed on both occasions.

Morais's men edged past Antalyaspor in the cup tie, while the Scorpions emerged victorious in the league fixture. If the trend continues, Bodrumspor will feel confident of another positive result on home soil.

Antalyaspor, meanwhile, come into the clash with momentum on their side, having registered back-to-back 2-1 wins over Alanyaspor and Samsunspor in their last two league outings.

Those victories came at home, where Emre Belozoglu's side have looked far more assured, with their struggles being away from the comforts of Corendon Airlines Park.

The visitors have won just once in their last nine away matches in the Super Lig and are winless in their last three on the road, having suffered two defeats and a draw in that period.

Their recent away results are especially concerning, with seven goals conceded and none scored in their last two trips, although those came against the league's top two sides, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

Bodrumspor remain without Musah Mohammed, Kerem Ersunar, Ahmet Aslan and Gokhan Akkan, who are all sidelined through injury.

Manager Morais is likely to stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation that earned three points against Alanyaspor.

As for Antalyaspor, they will be without Ramzi Safouri and Bahadir Ozturk due to injury, while Moussa Djenepo misses out through suspension.

Erdogan Yesilyurt and Emre Uzun have both suffered cruciate ligament injuries and will not feature again this season.

Bodrumspor possible starting lineup:
Sousa; Celustka, Ajeti, Aytemur, Sen; Fredy, Antalyali; Okita, Bardhi, Brazao; Seferi

Antalyaspor possible starting lineup:
Piric; Yilmaz, Sari, Gerxhaliu, Vural; Dikmen, Kaluzinski, Rakip; Samudio, Larsson, Van de Streek

We say: Bodrumspor 2-1 Antalyaspor

Bodrum have shown solid defensive organisation in recent weeks and a sharp edge in attack, which is why we are backing them to come out on top here, and with Antalyaspor managing just one win in their last six away outings, the hosts look well-placed to take all three points.
