Paul Pogba has reportedly expressed his desire to join a club in one of Europe's top-five leagues in the summer.
The 2018 World Cup winner has been a free agent since leaving Juventus in November, shortly before his 18-month ban for a doping offence was set to end.
Pogba has been free to train and play since the start of 2025, after having his initial four-year ban reduced on appeal, but he is yet to put pen to paper with a new club.
At 32, and having been out of the game for so long, there are some doubts about Pogba's physical state, but if he is on the market, he is undoubtedly going to be snapped up by a club over the summer.

Pogba working hard to return to the top level
Sky Germany correspondent Florian Plettenberg claims Pogba is currently in Miami undertaking a rigorous training regime in order to return to full fitness ahead of a potential transfer for next season.
Pogba has not played a professional match since representing Juve against Cremonese in May 2023, with that coming at the end of an already-injury-hit season for the Frenchman in Turin.
However, the report claims that clubs in Ligue 1, the Bundesliga and La Liga are believed to be interested in taking a chance on the former Manchester United man.
The preference appears to be a move back to one Europe's top-five leagues, but Pogba and his inner circle are also said to be considering potential offers from MLS and the Saudi Pro League.
Salary demands should not be as big of a stumbling block for some clubs as they would have been in the past, when Pogba was earning north of £15m-per-year at Man United.
Pogba almost halved his salary when joining Juventus in 2022, earning roughly £170,000-per-week, but that is set to be slashed even further, unless the player opts to make a move to Saudi.

What could Pogba offer a club in Europe next season?
If Pogba can put his injury torment behind him, and get back up to the pace of top-level football quickly, he could prove to be quite the coup for a club just below the elite bracket.
As a midfield enforcer, capable of dominating the engine room both technically and physically, Pogba had an eye for goal in his first spell at Juve, and the early stages of his return to Old Trafford, notably scoring 16 goals in the 2018-19 season.
That campaign came just after Pogba won the World Cup with France, scoring in the final, and while he had a positive and injury-free campaign in 2020-21, he has been unable to replicate that since.
The technical side of Pogba's game cannot be disputed, but there remains huge question marks around his physical and mental attributes at this stage of his career, following a lengthy layoff in particular.
