Despite their best efforts, Al Hilal could not defend their Saudi Pro League title, surrendering it to Karim Benzema's Al Ittihad side.
The Blue Waves started the campaign on a strong note, and they led the way until gameweek 19, when a 2-2 draw away to Damac saw them slip to second behind eventual champions Al Ittihad.
Mohammad Al-Shalhoub's charges are undefeated in seven matches, a run which included four wins and three draws, and head into the final day with a goal haul of 20 from their last seven top-flight fixtures.
Their scoring output does not come as a surprise, as they currently lead the league in that department, having scored a staggering 93 goals, 18 more than Al Ittihad, who come in second in the attacking leaderboard.
Although the reverse fixture ended in a 2-1 loss for the home side, the fans will count on their current run of form to earn another win on Monday.
Having finished top of the Saudi second tier in the previous season, Al Quadsiya gained promotion to the Saudi elite league, and they have done themselves proud.
Currently third-placed with 68 points, four behind the hosts, the Knight of the East have been more than impressive this term.
The visitors have won five of their last six top-flight fixtures, drawing the other, and head into the final day with a tally of 14-5 on aggregate.
A standout area of their season is their defensive solidity, which has seen them concede 29 goals, the best defensive record in the top division, and it is not surprising that they conceded one goal or fewer in the previous six league encounters.
Win or lose on Monday, it has been a successful campaign for the visitors, who have punched their ticket for continental football next season.

There are no new injury concerns for both managers heading into this contest, so tinkering with their respective teams may not be necessary.
For the hosts, Kaio Cesar, who was hauled off 17 minutes after coming on for Mohamed Kanno against Al Fateh, did not feature last time out, and he is not expected to play a part on Monday.
Besides that, Al-Shalhoub is likely to send out the same starting XI for the visit of Al Qadsiah this weekend.
Forwards Aleksandar Mitrovic (20) and Leonardo (17) have carried the attacking burden of the home side, but they are both on the sidelines for this match.
Julian Quinones and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will pair up top again to lead the attacking line for the visitors next Monday.
Al-Hilal possible starting lineup:
