Following Wrexham's remarkable promotion from League One in 2024-25, the Welsh club will be competing in the second tier of the football pyramid for just the second time in their history, and for the first time since the 1970s.
The club have been on an upward trajectory ever since Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took ownership of the team in 2020, with the side lingering in the fifth tier.
After ending their long stay in the National League, Wrexham required just one season to get out of League Two, before they repeated the feat in the third tier last season.
The Red Dragons collected 92 points from 46 matches to finish in second place and clinch a third consecutive promotion, leaving them just one step away from the promised land of the Premier League.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has welcomed two new faces to the club this summer, following the additions of goalkeeper Danny Ward and striker Ryan Hardie.
Parkinson will be keen to make several more additions before the September 1 deadline, and ideally, before his team kick off the new season against Southampton on August 9.
