Wrexham are reportedly looking to secure the ambitious signing of Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies.
The Red Dragons are currently preparing for their long-awaited return to the Championship on the back of three successive promotions.
With Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney at the helm, Wrexham will be an attractive option to a wide array of high-profile players of a certain level during the summer transfer window.
Most recently, West Ham United forward Danny Ings, who is departing the London Stadium on a free transfer, has been linked with a move to the Racecourse Ground.
As per Football Insider, Wrexham also hold an interest in signing another established Premier League player in Davies.

Can Wrexham pull off Davies coup?
The 32-year-old has just completed a decade at the North Londoners, making a total of 358 appearances in all competitions.
As many as 28 outings came during 2024-25, a campaign in which Spurs won the Europa League, but the Wales international currently has just a month remaining on his contract.
That opens the door for Wrexham to negotiate a deal for the left-sided defender, but Spurs have the option of extending his terms by a further 12 months.
Discussions are likely to be held between Davies, head coach Ange Postecoglou and club officials before a decision is taken.
With Spurs having qualified for the Champions League, it is not a foregone conclusion that Davies would be ready for a new challenge next season.
Furthermore, Spurs are not blessed with eight domestic players to fulfil registration criteria in the Premier League and Champions League, another factor that must come into consideration.

Davies signing would represent turning point
Given the names that have already been linked with Wrexham in recent weeks, it has become apparent that there is the potential for a star-studded squad to be assembled.
As a 94-cap Wales international, attracting someone of Davies's stature would be a considerable coup, regardless of how appealing playing for Wrexham currently is.
While Phil Parkinson will not necessarily want to break up his squad from 2024-25, he knows that significant additions and upgrades in quality are required to challenge for promotion.
Signing someone like Davies would be ideal to start the ball rolling when it comes to solidifying Wrexham's ambition in the short and long term.
