West Ham United have reportedly joined the race for Brondby striker Mathias Kvistgaarden this summer.
The 23-year-old appeared to wave goodbye to supporters of the Danish club during their final match of the season versus AGF Aarhus on Sunday.
Kvistgaarden has enjoyed a marvellous campaign on the domestic scene for Brondby, netting 17 goals across 29 Danish Superligaen appearances.
The youngster also made considerable waves on the continental stage, scoring twice during three Conference League matches earlier in the term.
His performances have attracted the interest of plenty of suitors around Europe's top leagues, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims that Premier League side West Ham United are now in the race for the services of the forward, who was recently called up to Denmark's senior squad.
As well as Graham Potter's Hammers, it is understood that Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt are also considering a swoop for the player.
The keenness of the aforementioned duo will be badly received in Glasgow, where Celtic are willing to break their transfer record to bring Kvistgaarden to Parkhead.

Wrexham targeting former Liverpool striker?
Moving down to the Championship, Wrexham are not just looking to make up the numbers in the division following promotion from League One this season.
The American-owned club have already been linked to some superstars names relative to the level, including Callum Wilson and Aaron Cresswell.
Aiming to bolster their attacking ranks ahead of 2025-26, the Red Dragons are targeting an ambitious swoop for Danny Ings, as per the Daily Mail.
The three-time England international is set to leave current club West Ham United at the expiration of his East London contract in June.
Ings has been on the periphery of the first-team plans at the London Stadium this season, starting just the single Premier League fixture for the Hammers.
As a result, it is no surprise to see the ex-Liverpool man departing the capital club, with a shock transfer to North Wales on the cards.
Ings last played in the second tier of English football during the 2013-14 campaign, netting 20 goals as Burnley won promotion from the Championship.

Wolves captain Semedo set for Super Lig switch?
Onto another name who is preparing for a Premier League exit, Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Nelson Semedo could be set for a serious lifestyle change.
According to Football Insider, Turkish giants Galatasaray are currently leading the race to sign the right-back on a free transfer this summer.
The 31-year-old's current deal in the Black Country expires at the end of this season, although Wolves have supposedly offered the player a new deal.
However, it is understood that Semedo would have to accept a reduction in his salary to remain at Molineux into the 2025-26 Premier League season.
Taking advantage in the breakdown of talks between the defender and Wolves, Super Lig champions Galatasaray have swooped in with a lucrative salary offer and the pull of Champions League football.
