Napoli are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund.
The 22-year-old impressed during his first season at Old Trafford, scoring 16 times in all competitions, including 10 Premier League goals, but he has struggled to make his mark during the 2024-25 campaign.
Hojlund has only managed two Premier League goals this term, and although he has seven in all competitions, the Denmark international's overall performance level has drawn huge criticism.
Man United coaches are allegedly losing patience with the striker, who could drop down to the bench for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.
One particular staff member is believed to have been furious with Hojlund's output against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month, with the Dane only managing 23 touches during his side's 1-0 defeat in North London.
The striker's best performances this season have come in Europe, netting five times in eight appearances in the competition, but he has found it incredibly difficult to influence Premier League matches.

Napoli 'weighing up' summer move for Hojlund
According to talkSPORT, Napoli are keen on Hojlund, with the Italian giants lining up a summer move, but Man United would have to be prepared to take a huge financial hit on the striker.
The report claims that Napoli would only be willing to pay 'a fraction' of the £72m that the Red Devils spent to sign the attacker from Atalanta BC in the summer of 2023.
Man United are believed to be keen to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli, opening up the potential for a swap deal this summer.
Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray, with the 26-year-old scoring 20 times and registering five assists in 26 appearances for the Turkish giants during the 2024-25 campaign.
The Nigeria international is set to return to his parent club this summer, but a permanent departure is thought to be likely, with Man United seemingly in the hunt for his signature.

Could Man United swap Hojlund for Osimhen?
Swap deals are incredibly complicated due to the finances involved, and it is likely that Napoli would also want some cash to be included.
However, if Napoli are seriously interested in signing Hojlund, then it is possible that something could be agreed, especially with Man United desperate to bring in a reliable goalscorer during this summer's transfer window.
According to journalist Anthony Nlebem of Business Day, a deal to take Osimhen to Old Trafford is already '95% complete', with the Red Devils seemingly leading the Premier League interest.
It had been suggested that Man United are willing to pay the £62m release clause in the striker's contract, but that would be reduced if Hojlund was used as a makeweight.
Osimhen has represented Napoli on 133 occasions, scoring 76 goals and registering 12 assists in the process, but unless Man United win the Europa League this season, then Champions League football will not be on offer at Old Trafford next term.
