Manchester United would equal an unwanted club record if they fail to overcome West Ham United in Sunday's Premier League contest at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are without a victory in their last six Premier League fixtures, drawing twice and suffering four defeats; only between September and November 1992 have they been on a longer winless run in the competition, going seven matches without a victory, posting five draws and two defeats.
Man United have not been victorious in England's top flight since before the March international break, when they recorded a 3-0 victory over struggling Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Since then, they have lost to Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brentford, in addition to drawing with Manchester City and Brentford.
A disastrous Premier League campaign has left the Red Devils in 15th position in the table, picking up just 39 points from 35 matches, only two points ahead of 17th-placed West Ham in England's top flight.

Man United are unbeaten in their last 16 home Premier League games against West Ham, recording 13 wins in the process, while they have been victorious in each of the last four without conceding.
That said, the Hammers have won three of their last four Premier League games against Man United, including a 2-1 success when the two teams locked horns at the London Stadium back in October 2024.
Man United head coach Ruben Amorim has been rotating his Premier League side in recent weeks due to the team's Europa League run, and that will again be the case against the Hammers.
The Red Devils will tackle West Ham and Chelsea in England's top flight before facing Tottenham Hotspur in the final of the Europa League on May 21, with the winner securing Champions League football for next term.

Man United could finish as low as 17th in the Premier League this season, which would be quite staggering, but their campaign rests on what occurs in the final of the Europa League in Bilbao.
While 17th would be disastrous, in truth, there is not much difference between 15th and 17th, and lifting the Europa League trophy would certainly save their campaign.
Amorim will ignore outside criticism and continue resting key players in the Premier League, but a stronger side is expected to start against West Ham to the one that takes to the field against Chelsea on May 16, as the clash at Stamford Bridge will come just five days before the final of the Europa League.
