Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Leeds United.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will need to conduct a once-over on Jordan Henderson ahead of Saturday evening's Premier League clash with Leeds United at Anfield.

The England midfielder sustained a painful knock to the knee in Wednesday's Champions League win over Ajax, which sealed the Reds' place in the knockout rounds.

Henderson's issue is not thought to be of a serious nature, but he will need assessing regardless, so Fabinho may be left in limbo over his imminent midfield partner.

Thiago Alcantara missed out again in midweek due to an ear infection, but the Spaniard is in line to return to join Fabinho in the engine room, with Naby Keita still needing time to build up his fitness despite his return to training.

Curtis Jones and James Milner are also waiting in the wings, but the former flattered to deceive in last week's defeat to Nottingham Forest. Elsewhere, Luis Diaz, Arthur, Joel Matip and Diogo Jota all remain sidelined by injury.

Klopp could choose to save any rotations for next week's Champions League against Napoli with qualification already assured, so Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Harvey Elliott could all line up from the off again.

Ibrahima Konate will likely only be considered from minutes from the bench for the moment, leaving Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk to start in front of Alisson Becker, as Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold continue out wide.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Salah, Fabinho, Thiago, Elliott; Firmino, Nunez
