Celtic further demonstrated their dominance over the Scottish Premiership in 2024-25, being crowned the champions of Scotland for the fourth time in a row.

Brendan Rodgers's side also won the Scottish League Cup, though the famous treble eluded them after a narrow loss to Aberdeen on penalties in the Scottish FA Cup final.

Celtic also fared respectably in the Champions League, reaching the knockout phase and putting up a solid fight against German giants Bayern Munich, where they lost 3-2 on aggregate in the knockout playoff round.

As they look ahead to the 2025-26 campaign, Celtic will look to make additions that can help them match their domestic dominance and surpass last season's appearance in the Champions League knockout phase playoff round.

They have already re-signed left-back Kieran Tierney on a five-year deal, while they have also strengthened their attacking options with the addition of Sweden international Benjamin Nygren.

The Hoops are still searching for a forward to replace Kyogo Furuhashi, who left the club for Ligue 1 side Rennes in the January transfer window.

It will also be interesting to see which players leave this summer, with Greg Taylor having departed the club upon the expiration of his contract, while Nicolas Kuhn has joined Como.
