AC Milan reportedly have no interest in entertaining a swap deal involving Franck Kessie and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Despite his status as a key man at San Siro, Kessie has less than six months left on his contract, putting Milan at risk of losing the Ivory Coast international on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, Spurs are open to parting ways with Ndombele, who has never found any consistency since his big-money switch from Lyon in 2019.
According to Il Corriere della Sera, the Premier League outfit have already made contact with Milan in the hope of negotiating a scenario which suits all parties.
However, the report claims that Milan would rather lose Kessie on a free than take on Ndombele's significant wage packet, either in the short or long term.
Kessie allegedly earns £6m-per-season less than Ndombele, highlighting that any deal involving Ndombele may not make any sense with Spurs also wanting a fee for the Frenchman's services.
