Real Zaragoza cruise into quarter-finals

Goals from Franco Zuculini and Paco Montanes help Real Zaragoza to a 3-0 aggregate win over Levante in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.

Real Zaragoza have booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey with a comfortable 2-0 home victory in the second leg of their fifth-round tie against Levante.

Manuel Jimenez's side, who took a vital away goal into tonight's game, stole the lead in the 23rd minute through Argentine midfielder Franco Zuculini to make it 2-0 on aggregate.

Things went from bad to worse for Levante in the second half as Hector Ramirez was shown the red card, reducing the visitors to 10 men.

Zaragoza made their numerical advantage count, landing the killer blow on the hour mark through Paco Montanes to make it 3-0 across the two legs.

Jimenez's men will take on Sevilla in the next round.
