Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Tuesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig.

Real Madrid will be missing Karim Benzema for Tuesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig.

The France international was initially named in the squad for Saturday's La Liga game against Sevilla but did not feature at Bernabeu in his side's 3-1 win due to muscular fatigue.

After the match, Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti said that the striker would also be missing against Leipzig but could be back against Girona in La Liga next weekend.

Real Madrid will also be missing Dani Ceballos, Mariano Diaz, Federico Valverde and Luka Modric through injury for the clash with the German outfit.

A draw would be enough for the reigning champions to secure first position in the group, and Ancelotti is therefore expected to select a strong XI onto the field.

There might be one defensive change from the side that started on Saturday, with Antonio Rudiger potentially coming into the back four to replace Ferland Mendy.

Rudiger's introduction, should it happen, would see David Alaba move across to the left-back role.

Valverde and Modric have both been left out of the squad due to small injuries that they picked up against Sevilla, which could open the door for Marco Asensio and Eduardo Camavinga to come into the side.

Eden Hazard is also an option in the final third of the field, but it seems more likely that Asensio will play off the right, with Rodrygo through the middle and Vinicius Junior on the left.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, Alaba; Camavinga, Tchouameni, Kroos; Asensio, Rodrygo, Vinicius
