Sports Mole looks at Manchester United's transfer business in January, as exits for Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek headlined eight outgoings.

The January transfer window is now over, and for Manchester United it was one which saw interim boss Ralf Rangnick focus on trimming his squad.

Links to Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele and a whole host of defensive midfielders ultimately proved unfounded as the Red Devils failed to bring in a single player before Monday's 11pm deadline.

There were eight outgoings from Old Trafford, though, with Man United shipping out a mixture of first-team players and youngsters on loan.

Out-of-favour duo Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek were the highest profile departees, as they joined Sevilla and Everton respectively until the end of the season.

Axel Tuanzebe also left on loan for Napoli, while Amad Diallo joined Rangers on loan, where he has already had an impact.

Below, Sports Mole rounds up every piece of business conducted by Manchester United during the 2022 January transfer window.
