Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Burnley.

Liverpool will expect to welcome Sadio Mane back to the squad for Sunday's Premier League battle with Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Africa Cup of Nations winner returned to Merseyside earlier this week, but he will likely only be considered for minutes off the bench after missing out against Leicester City.

Jordan Henderson will make his return if his back injury does not flare up again, while Joe Gomez and Divock Origi were left out in midweek on a tactical basis.

Jurgen Klopp may be tempted to draft Ibrahima Konate into the backline given the quick turnaround, but Joel Matip performed valiantly in midweek and will most likely keep his place.

Harvey Elliott could make his first start since September after building up his fitness with two substitute outings, with Curtis Jones potentially making way for his fellow youngster.

Thiago Alcantara's fitness must also be carefully managed, so Henderson will likely link up with Elliott and Fabinho in the middle after Klopp confirmed his availability on Friday.

Mohamed Salah returned off the bench against Leicester and will expect to come back into the first XI here - forming a fear-inducing front three with Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Elliott, Fabinho, Henderson; Salah, Jota, Diaz
