Leicester City are reportedly interested in appointing Sean Dyche as their next head coach.
The Foxes have endured a sobering 2024-25 campaign in the Premier League, with their latest defeat arriving at home to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Leicester are now confirmed to finish inside the bottom three of the league standings, sentencing them to a term in the Championship next year.
Winning just two of his 16 games since arriving earlier in the term, head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy has struggled to make a positive impact at the King Power Stadium.
The already-relegated Foxes have five more fixtures to fulfil of a woeful top-flight season, with the next coming at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

Leicester targeting Dyche as Van Nistelrooy replacement?
According to Football Insider, Leicester are beginning to draw up a list of potential replacements for current head coach Van Nistelrooy ahead of next term.
It is understood that the Dutchman is not expected to stay on in the East Midlands after a woeful five months as manager in the Premier League.
The report claims that the Foxes' hierarchy are eyeing up a swoop for out-of-work coach Dyche ahead of a second-tier campaign in the 2025-26 term.
Having won promotion from the Championship with Burnley in 2014 and 2016, Dyche is seen as a candidate with plenty of experience by Leicester.
His managerial style is also supposedly comparable to former Foxes boss Nigel Pearson, who miraculously guided the club to Premier League safety in 2015.

Can Leicester bounce back immediately?
With Enzo Maresca at the helm, Leicester City took the Championship by storm in 2023-24, winning the division at a relative canter under the Italian.
The Foxes' time in the second tier is set to be much trickier this time around, though, with questions surrounding the makeup of the playing staff.
A proven operator such as Dyche is likely to be welcomed at the King Power, although some supporters will have reservations over the manager's style of play.
