Everton have reportedly learned how much it will take to sign Villarreal striker Thierno Barry.
The Toffees are on the lookout for a new striker amid uncertainty surrounding Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future with the club.
Calvert-Lewin is out of contract at the end of the month and will walk away for nothing unless a new deal is agreed.
Everton are said to view Villarreal’s Barry as a potential option to strengthen David Moyes’s forward options ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
According to TEAMtalk, Everton will have to pay a considerable fee to prise Barry away from the Spanish club in the summer transfer window.
Villareal want Barry's potential suitors to match or pay close to the €40m (£33.6m) release clause in his contract, representing a significant mark-up on the €15m (£12.7m) they paid to sign him from FC Basel last summer.
The Yellow Submarine are under no pressure to compromise on Barry's valuation, with the player under contract until the summer of 2029.
West Ham eyeing Onyedika move
Meanwhile, West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika this summer.
The Nigeria international has made 141 competitive appearances since joining the Belgian side from FC Midtjylland in the summer of 2022.
However, it is unclear whether Onyedika will continue his career with Club Brugge beyond the summer transfer window despite being under contract until June 2027.
According to TBR Football, West Ham have made initial contact over a potential move to sign the 24-year-old as a potential replacement for Tomas Soucek.
The Czech Republic international has been linked with a move away from the London Stadium amid reported interest from newly-promoted Leeds United.
While the Hammers are keen on Onyedika, they appear to be facing competition from Italian giants AC Milan, who view the midfielder as a possible successor to Manchester City-bound Tijjani Reijnders.
Wolves weighing up Guessand bid
Staying in the Premier League, Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly considering a potential transfer bid for Nice striker Evann Guessand.
Wolves boss Vitor Pereira is looking to strengthen his forward options following Matheus Cunha's recent move to Manchester United.
The Midlands club appear to have identified Guessand as a potential candidate to bolster their attacking options ahead of Pereira's first full season in charge.
According to Sky Sports News, Wolves are weighing up whether to submit an official offer to sign the 23-year-old in a transfer that could be worth more than £25m.
The report claims that Wolves are working to win the race for Guessand's signature, with the striker said to be attracting plenty of interest following an impressive season.
Guessand netted 13 goals and provided 10 assists in 42 competitive appearances, including 21 goal contributions in 33 Ligue 1 matches in 2024-25.
