Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up for Sunday's La Liga clash with Getafe.

Barcelona manager Xavi has a number of selection dilemmas to address ahead of his side's La Liga showdown with Getafe on Sunday afternoon.

With Frenkie de Jong and Pedri both unavailable due to injury, the Barca boss has decisions to make regarding the midfield area following a disappointing goalless draw with Girona earlier this week.

Sergio Busquets and Gavi are expected to retain their places in the starting XI, but Franck Kessie could come in for Sergi Roberto after the former replaced the latter at half time against Girona.

Having kept a remarkable 21 clean sheets in 28 La Liga outings this season, Marc-Andre ter Stegen will continue between the ticks, with Ronald Araujo and Eric Garcia expected to occupy the centre-back roles as Andreas Christensen continues to recover from injury.

Jules Kounde is likely to continue at right-back, while 19-year-old left-back Alejandro Balde looks set to keep his place at left-back after impressing in recent games.

At the opposite end of the pitch, Robert Lewandowski will lead the line after bagging a brace and an assist against Elche earlier this month, taking his tally for the season to 27 goals in 36 games across all competitions.

Raphinha has featured in all but two of Barcelona's league matches this term and will continue to operate on the right flank in the absence of the injured Ousmane Dembele, whose last appearance came back in early February.

Ansu Fati started on the left side of Barca's attack last time out, but Ferran Torres is expected to be restored to the starting XI this weekend.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Garcia, Balde; Gavi, Busquets, Kessie; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Torres
