Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez has reportedly moved closer to a transfer to Trabzonspor this summer.
The 30-year-old has played for the Spanish giants since March 2012, although he has enjoyed loan spells at Rayo Vallecano, Chelsea and Sevilla during that period.
Saul spent the 2024-25 campaign on a temporary deal at Sevilla, for whom he featured across 26 competitive matches, scoring once.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Saul's decade-long association with Atletico Madrid is approaching its conclusion.
The report claims that the midfielder is preparing for a flight to Turkey on Monday (July 21) to complete a transfer to Trabzonspor.
It is understood that Saul will undergo a medical at the Turkish Super Lig outfit ahead of putting pen to paper on a four-year deal.
If all goes to plan in the medical tests, the 19-time Spain international should meet up with head coach Fatih Tekke and teammates for training on Tuesday (July 22).
Forest submit bid for Serie A star?
Focusing on the Premier League, Nottingham Forest are preparing for a return to the European stage, with Europa League football on the agenda in 2025-26.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the Tricky Trees are interested in securing the services of Bologna attacker Dan Nodye this summer.
The report states that Forest have submitted an initial bid for the 24-year-old, who provided 12 goal contributions in Serie A during 2024-25.
It is believed that Ndoye has already agreed to a switch to the City Ground, where domestic and European contests will take place.
Forest and Bologna are now set for club-to-club discussions in order to settle on a suitable financial package for the transfer of the 22-time Switzerland international.
Nuno Espirito Santo's men have supposedly made Ndoye their main attacking target for the remainder of the summer transfer window.
The East Midlands outfit are on the lookout for new talent at the top end of the pitch following the loss of Anthony Elanga to Champions League-competing Newcastle United.
Palace prepare to accept bids for attacker?
Moving down to the English capital, Crystal Palace are prepping for Conference League football after lifting their first-ever FA Cup last season.
Spending the historic campaign away from the Eagles, Odsonne Edouard is now back at Selhurst Park following a loan stint at Leicester City.
The Frenchman struggled to make an impact at the King Power Stadium, featuring in just six games across the entire season.
According to Football Insider, Edouard does not have a future in the plans of Oliver Glasner's squad ahead of the 2025-26 term.
Palace are supposedly looking to permanently offload the former Celtic striker this summer, with clubs in Saudi Arabia and MLS said to be keen.
