Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were treated to a rollercoaster ride of a season that featured both a serious threat of relegation and some impressive runs of form.
Vitor Pereira spearheaded the second half of the campaign, transforming Wolves from likely relegation candidates to a team who have hope for the future under the Portuguese.
Wolves have managed to boost their squad with the signing of talented attacker Fer Lopez from Celta Vigo, while a permanent deal for Jorgen Stand Larsen has also been secured.
Larsen scored 14 Premier League goals for Wolves during the 2024-25 campaign, demonstrating that he is more than capable of performing at the top level, so his signing, for a fee in the region of £23.5m, is excellent business.
However, there is no getting away from the fact that there have been some standout departures this summer, with Wolves losing two of their most important players to Manchester clubs.
Indeed, Matheus Cunha has made the switch to Manchester United, while Rayan Ait-Nouri has joined Manchester City, with the club making almost £100m from those two exits.
The experienced Pablo Sarabia and Nelson Semedo have also departed on free transfers, so it will be interesting to see how the squad shapes up at the end of the summer transfer window.
Jhon Arias became Wolves' third signing of the summer on July 24, with the 27-year-old arriving from Brazilian club Fluminense, and he is capable of making a big impression in the coming season.
Wolves are currently building towards the start of their 2025-26 Premier League campaign, with the team opening their season at home to Manchester City, before also tackling Bournemouth and Everton in the opening month.
