Tottenham Hotspur in talks with Brazilian youngster Neilton?

Tottenham Hotspur are understood to have entered talks with Santos over a move for Brazilian teenager Neilton.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly entered talks with Santos over a move for Brazilian youngster Neilton.

Representatives from the Premier League club are understood to have flown to South America earlier this week in order to finalise a deal.

However, Spurs are facing competition for the teenager following a bid from Sevilla, according to The Mirror.

The Spaniards are believed to have offered £600,000 for the player, but Santos are holding out as they look for a lucrative sell-on clause.

Neilton has been linked with a number of European clubs in the past, including Chelsea and Manchester United.
