Barcelona are reportedly hopeful that Juventus will make a bid for Antoine Griezmann if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Turin this summer.

Barcelona are reportedly monitoring Cristiano Ronaldo's situation at Juventus as they consider the future of Antoine Griezmann.

Despite having one year remaining on his contract at the Italian giants, it has been suggested that Ronaldo could leave Turin this summer.

Any departure would free up space on Juventus' wage bill at a time when Barcelona are looking to reduce their own outgoings, a necessary move if they wish to retain the services of Lionel Messi.

According to Sport, the Catalan giants would invite an offer for Griezmann if Ronaldo makes the switch elsewhere over the coming weeks.

The report hints that Barcelona would be willing to discuss a loan agreement with the option of Griezmann leaving permanently in 2022.

While Griezmann has frequently said that he would like to see out his contract at Camp Nou, the arrivals of Memphis Depay and Sergio Aguero are likely to force him down the pecking order.
